First Daughter, Jenna Bush and First Lady, Laura pen their first children's book.

Jenna Bush made headlines way back in 2001 when she was charged with underage drinking. Today, she's making headlines again, this time for writing Read All About It, a children's book to promote literacy. It's about time. It seems that if you're in the public eye, you almost have to write a children's book. Thank Madonna for that one.

Who would've thought the self-proclaimed "Boy Toy" woman who suggestively writhed around on the floor in a wedding dress would someday affect a British accent and write the quaint little book The English Roses?

Would you buy a children's book simply because it has a presidential pedigree? Do you have a favorite children's book written by a celebrity author? Tell us!

I would NOT buy a children’s book because it has presidential pedigree. by the way, we really like Steve Martin’s book ‘A to Y…’ ROCK ON Jenna.

I just have to say - in 2001 I spent most of my time drinking and sleeping around (not with my husband, he stayed home). I did a lot of things I am not proud be between 1999-2001 (I was 18-20). That was 7 years ago. Today - I am a happy (and faithfully) married women with three beautiful children, a college graduate and a professional business owner. People who know me today would not believe who I was. For that reason, I don’t share it with people. Unlike jenna, my mistakes were not public foder and so my past is my past. My point with all this - what does her actions 7 years ago have to do with who she is today? Other then, perhaps - to help us see how much more important it is to celebrate her adult choices of late? And yes - I will be buying the book, because it sounds like an interesting book - but I haven’t bought celeb books in the past, mostly because they didn’t interest me.
