Find out which parent-targeted ad made the UK's Top 10 most controversial advertisements list.

petaad.jpg

PETA must think any Mom who lets her kids eat a burger is a child abuser. And judging by the boy's chubby little face, it's implied that eating meat of any kind is a direct path to obesity. Hmmm... even skinless chicken?

Does this ad infuriate you, or do you agree with PETA's tactics?

PETA is nothing more than a large group of uneducated people going after the wrong group of people. They should be going after illegal poachers and illegal hunters; fisherman who cut off sharks’ fins only to throw the shark back in the water to die; or anyone going after animals on the endangered species list. Cows are not going extinct and protein is needed for healthy growth. If PETA would go after the right people, then they’d be more effective and not blown off by us carnivores. I wonder how many of them have leather belts or leather seats in their vehicles?

Agree with PETA? Not now, not ever. This is just another reason why they disgust me.

Vegetarian? Yay. PETA? Okay. Meat=fat? No way. Animals are here to be eaten, raised as pets, used for transportation and even clothing at times, but as long as this is done in a humane way with as little pain as possible. I’ve been a happy omnivore for 17 years and I am not fat. Feeding kids meat in general is not child abuse: kids need protein and some fats, and not giving them the nutrients they need to grow is DEFINITELY child abuse. Besides someone altered the picture - no one’s head is shaped that way. (Please do not be offended if your head is shaped that way.)

Do you think that Obama is going to win because the Republicans have such a bad candidate? Why did John McCain make his final argument against Obama… coal? That’s his closing argument? William Ayers, Rev. Wright, spreading the wealth, Born Alive, meeting dictators without preconditions, etc. all have to take a back seat so that McCain can go to Colorado and New Mexico to talk about coal? Does this more or less explain why he’s going to get his clock cleaned Tuesday?

I’m all for ethical treatment of animals but these are the same people (PETA) that wanted us to start eating ice cream made from breast milk a few months ago…
