After winning the Democratic nomination for president, Senator Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, bumped fists (you know, like the cool kids do). You'd think it was the latest political scandal by the way news sources around the world have dissected the event. But it does beg the question--why is it so darn awkward to see politicians trying to be hip?
