Beef Products Recalled

 

Good god,is there a day that goes by that there isn’t some horrible and tainted food being recalled?And of course i’m in one of the states with the recall going on and when we buy meats we get home and seperate them into freezer bags for meals and toss out the packaging,arg!And it’s not just food anymore either,toys with lead,toothpaste with anti-freeze in it,when will it end?

today i opened a can of ‘bushs baked beans’ only to find a lovely thick layer of mold floating at the rim. Also the expiration date was still two years away, in 2010. So appetizing, no?

What is up with this? I still believe that we will all be better off if we go back to totally organic foods instead of all this processed crap! If all of us take a stand and stop taking this crap from our government they will have to listen to us and start responding in a positive way! We all need to start growing our own food. If you own a home or live in an apartment it can still be done. There is such a thing as container gardening. If you own your own land you can grow grass fed animals and sell them to us that do not have our own land. Everyone needs to take a stand and do their part and stop griping about being poisoned by foods you are buying from an entity you should not totally trust! Think about it people. We have to look out for ourselves and others because our government is claerly not!!!

I quit buying beef from big retailers. I buy from a local meat market that gets it’s meat locally. I pay a little bit higher price, but since I live in a rural area, it saves me on gas, anyway. Guess what I discovered? The local market stuff has a LOT LESS FAT ground up in it! I actually have to add a bit of oil to keep it from sticking! It definitely tastes better! Buy local if you can!
